SPECIFICATION: The vertical channel members are pressed from best quality galvanised steel and are linked together by sets of lattice bars made from 10g mild steel. The lattice bars are fixed to the vertical members by pins securely rivetted over each end on both sides of the vertical channel members.

Top track pressed from 14guage M.S. is in channel profile but with aslight return to take the top rollers. The botom track is pressed from 10 gauge M.S and is supplied complete with lugs already welded on for site fixing.

LOCK: The lock is housed in a special profile mild steel section of closing jamb or meeting stile. This closing jamb profile is concealed and bolted to the vertical guide channel.

FIXING: There are two main fixing methods:

1. For single leaf gates - to fix, the position of the attached lugs are marked against the linted, the bottom track is buried, the gate top- rollers are inserted inside the top tracks. The gate is positioned propped and the lugs on top tracksand side of the gates are grouted into linted and wall simultaneously and left to dry.

2. For double leaf gate, the two equal lengths of top track should be grouted to the linted on both ends of opening width, leaving space between for the short length, the bottom track is similarly grouted into the floor andd left to dry.

SIZES:

1. Maximum height 3050mm overall tracks at head and cill.

2. Maximum width 3650mm for a gate in one piece.

3. Maximum width is 7300mm of the gate is in two pieces opening from the centre.

4. Gates greater than 3650mm wide can be made in one piece if the height is below 3050mm being limited to a maximum area of 11 square metres.
